C.S. Lewis's masterpiece develops the key concepts of Christianity. Lewis lived in a Christian home as a child but soon became an Atheist while in college and learning under the influence of atheist professors. After much reading and research, Lewis converted back to Christianity and wrote his famous book, Mere Christianity, in 1952. Lewis brings forth the idea of the Trinity, God hearing our prayers, Christ's incarnation, sanctification and many other concepts. He uses analogies and argumentation to help the reader better understand Christianity.
“Look for yourself, and you will find in the long run only hatred, loneliness, despair, rage, ruin and decay. But look to Christ and you will find Him, and with Him everything else thrown in.”
