Genevieve was born into a musical family and started playing violin at seven years old with the San Diego Suzuki Strings Ensemble. Most of her childhood was spent playing in her family ensemble with her siblings and mom and performing Broadway musicals in her living room. Since then she has completed the Suzuki program and played with groups such as Grossmont Symphony Orchestra, East County Youth Symphony, Pacific Lyric Association, SDSU Symphony Orchestra and Chamber Orchestra. Genny attends San Diego State University for her B.A. in Violin Performance. She's been teaching violin both privately and in group settings for two years. Genny teaches violin in person and online to students of all ages, levels and backgrounds.
